グローバルビジネスの拡大やテクノロジーの進化により、タックスプロフェッショナルの活躍の場は大きく広がっています。税務は、企業の成長戦略や国際取引、サステナビリティ、デジタル化など、ビジネスの重要な意思決定に深く関わる分野です。これからのタックスプロフェッショナルには、専門知識だけでなく、英語で伝える力、論理的に考える力、多様な価値観を持つ人々と協働する力、そして新しい課題に挑戦する柔軟な発想力が求められます。
EY税理士法人（以下、「EY TAX」）では、次世代のタックスプロフェッショナルを発掘・育成することを目的に、国際大会Young Tax Professional of the Year（以下、「YTPY」）の日本大会を開催します。YTPYは、税務に関心を持つ学生が、実践的なケーススタディやプレゼンテーションを通じて、自分の可能性を試し、世界へ視野を広げることができる国際的なコンペティションです。日本大会の優勝者は、日本代表としてグローバル大会へ進む機会を得ることができます。
グローバル大会では、世界各国・地域の代表者が集まり、ケーススタディ、プレゼンテーション、ディスカッション等を通じて、将来のタックスリーダーに求められる力を競います。世界の仲間と学び合い、刺激を受けながら、自分の専門性とキャリアの可能性を広げる貴重な機会です。

As global business expands and technology transforms the way organizations operate, the role of tax professionals is becoming more dynamic and far-reaching than ever. Tax is closely connected to key business decisions, including growth strategy, cross-border transactions, sustainability and digital transformation. Future tax professionals are expected to demonstrate not only technical knowledge, but also the ability to communicate in English, think logically, collaborate across cultures and approach new challenges with creativity.
EY TAX will host the Japan competition of Young Tax Professional of the Year (YTPY), an international competition designed to identify and develop the next generation of tax leaders. YTPY gives students interested in tax the opportunity to test their potential, broaden their global perspective and develop practical skills through case studies and presentations. The winner of the Japan competition will have the opportunity to represent Japan at the global competition.
At the global level, country and regional winners compete through case studies, presentations and discussions. It is a valuable opportunity to learn alongside peers from around the world, gain inspiration from diverse perspectives and expand your future career possibilities.

Applications are now open for the Japan competition of Young Tax Professional of the Year 2027.
If you are curious about tax, eager to challenge yourself in English, or interested in developing the ability to analyze and present real business issues, this program is for you. Whether you already have a strong interest in tax or are just beginning to explore the field, YTPY offers a practical and inspiring opportunity to learn through case studies, receive exposure to EY professionals and connect with peers who share global ambitions.
